First aid: If you could pick only two things, what would they be?

Everyone, including me, will sell you the biggest first aid kit that you feel you need to have. But if you could pick only two items , what would they be?

(Drum roll...)

My two picks are:

1. Tape

2. Lots and lots of gauze

Tape - medical tape is great for everything. I prefer cloth over the plastic type. And if it’s available, duct tape. You can build a boat with duct tape! It’s a must have in every kit.

Gauze - it’s the universal bandaid. You can cut it to size. And when you have a serious bleed that a band aid can’t handle, slap down that gauze! Then tape it up. 

Which two would you choose??
